Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are focused on co-parenting their new baby girl.
The artist, who also goes by mgk, announced via Instagram that the former couple welcomed a baby girl on Thursday, March 27. He shared the exciting news with a video of himself and his newborn daughter, writing, “She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed.”
A source exclusively tells PEOPLE that Fox and Kelly will be co-parenting together.
“Whatever issues they have, Megan and MGK both are on the same page when it comes to co-parenting,” the source says. “Right now they’re amicable.”
Fox, 38, and Kelly, 34, got engaged in January 2022. They called it quits at the end of November 2024, just weeks after announcing that they were expecting a baby together.
“No one would be surprised if they gave their relationship another try down the line,” the insider adds. “But right now they’re focused on what’s best for their daughter.”

A source previously told PEOPLE that after Fox ended things with Kelly, she wasn’t really speaking to the rapper amid the end of their relationship.
“They tried to make things work for many years. It was exhausting for Megan,” a source told PEOPLE in January.
“She’s done with him now. She just wants to focus on the baby and her boys now. She lives alone and doesn’t have much contact with MGK,” the insider continued.
The month after their breakup, a source told PEOPLE that the actress was feeling grateful for the co-parenting support she receives from ex-husband Brian Austin Green and his fiancée Sharna Burgess as she navigates her split from her ex-fiancé.
Green, 51, and Fox share sons Noah Shannon, 12, Bodhi Ransom, 10 and Journey River, 8.
“She’s in a good place with both Brian and Sharna. She gets along really well with Sharna,” the source said in December 2024. “Megan trusts her around the boys.”

Additionally, on Thursday, March 27, Burgess defended her and Green’s co-parenting relationship with Fox. Her Instagram Stories follow Green’s Instagram Stories, in which he reshared a fiery direct message he’d received from Kelly. After the singer messaged Green to chastise him for repeatedly asking when his baby with Fox is due.
“When kids are in a split household the greatest thing we can do is make them love and feel safe in both homes, like both homes are also friends and share love and communication,” Burgess wrote. “We work to always keep our language and experiences positive, and when talking about their other home we always talk about it with love and support.”
She added that Noah, Bodhi and Journey were very excited for Fox to welcome another baby.
“Our kids are so excited about the arrival of their baby sister and we are excited FOR them,” Burgess said.
