The “ancient”-inspired piece features an antique diamond in a “rare honey champagne color,” per Tallulah and her jewelry designer, Karina Noel
What’s old is new again for Tallulah Willis, who drew upon ancient inspirations and antique materials while co-designing her custom engagement ring.
Last December, the 31-year-old daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis announced that her partner, musician Justin Acee, had proposed, flashing an engagement band in the accompanying photos. But, she revealed three months later, her actual engagement ring is one she helped to design herself.
Tallulah first announced that her official ring had arrived in an Instagram post on Saturday, March 22. In a couple snaps — plus a video — the star showed off the vintage-inspired gold sparkler from multiple angles, the large center stone sparkling in the sun. (She also tagged Acee on the post, placing the tag right on the stone.)

She shared more details about the ring — and its “ancient” look — in the caption. “Never knew a ring could encapsulate a love so perfectly,” she wrote of the sparkler. “Warm, depthful, ancient.”
The former child actor went on to say that she is “blown away,” and thanked luxury jewelry designer Karina Noel for helping to carry out her vision for the special — and significant — piece.
“Our design come to life is extraordinary,” she concluded. “More photos to come I’m currently caught up getting to know her ! 😉 I choose you everyday my love @justinacee. I cannot wait to be your wife ☀️.”
On her own Instagram, Noel promised to share more about the process of co-designing the ring soon, but did reveal in an Instagram comment that the stone is an antique diamond.

After a user asked if the custom ring was citrine, Noel responded, “An antique diamond! A rare honey champagne color. Insane.” Tallulah also answered a fan inquiry in the comments of the same post, revealing that the diamond is an old mine cut stone — and 4.03 carats.

In the post Noel commented on to reveal the ring’s material — one of Tallulah’s “#teamtapin” video diaries, also shared on March 22 — the star showed off her sparkler again while discussing the importance of it and other “totems.”
“My ring is here and it’s really so special,” she said while showing the piece to the camera, later revealing that she wants to talk about “totems.”
“I love imbuing an item or an object or a piece or a sliver of something magic, because it’s just so beautiful,” she continued, adding that the ring (and particularly the unique, angular gold band) reminds her of an ancient style of a two-handled pot.
Tallulah continued, “It reminds me of amphora, the way shoulders are, which is that very beautiful Greek vase, very femme, very beautiful. … I think it’s very special when you can imbue something with a little magic and also sentiment.”
“You imbued this piece with our love!” the star added in the caption. “@karinanoel totems to bring some magic to your everyday!! 🪽🪽.”
