A little child who felt unloved and unwelcome was raised in a family where emotional neglect was common. Years later, a single coat would change his life and represent his struggle for existence.
Even the most difficult beginnings can lead to success, as evidenced by the fact that that boy is now Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone.

Rejection plagued Stallone’s early years, both in his professional life and in his own family. He was raised in a dysfunctional household, saw his parents divorce, and, despite having siblings, frequently felt alone.
His mother left emotional scars since she was unable to show affection because of her own difficult history. At an early age, Stallone was forced to fend for himself after his parents abandoned him and moved him to a boarding house in Jackson Heights.
A single coat saved his life on the chilly nights when he faced homelessness and expulsion from thirteen schools. He remembers, “That coat saved my life.” His determination remained unwavering in the face of hardship.

Stallone found stability with his wife and girls in spite of personal traumas, such as the death of his son. His story serves as a reminder that remarkable accomplishment may come from even the most challenging beginnings.
