The young man covered a distance of 178 kilometers, carrying his younger brother, who suffers from paralysis, on his back.

Two brothers, Hunter Gund, 16, and his younger brother Brayden, completed a 110-mile run from their hometown of Temperance to the steps of the Michigan State Capitol nearly four months ago. Hunter carried his brother, who has cerebral palsy, on his back the entire way.
This is the second year that the brothers have taken part in the annual festival called Cerebral Palsy Swagger, which aims to bring maximum attention to the problem of cerebral palsy.

The first time the boys covered a distance of 64 km. This time the boys were able to cover a distance almost three times greater than the last time.
This year the tour took five days, with the brothers setting out on April 20 and successfully completing their mission on April 25.
The brothers crossed many cities in their native country, stopping every 3-4 km to rest and catch their breath. On the evening of April 25, they stepped onto the first steps of the Michigan State Capitol.

These five days spent together became truly valuable for them. The brothers became closer and inspired by many other guys with their trip.
This event was Hunter’s last chance to spend time with his younger brother, as he will be going to university this fall. Hopefully, the boys will continue to participate in such events and set new records.
