Then, I noticed a man sitting nearby. He had this smug grin while totally eavesdropping on us. Well, I couldn’t help but speak up.
“Can we help you?” I asked.
“It’s funny,” he sneered. “Listening to you complain about the men you’re supposed to be serving. Isn’t it your job to do what you’re told and keep quiet? Typical women.”
Our smiles immediately vanished. Hell no, I wasn’t one to back down.
“At least we know how to do our jobs properly,” I said. “Maybe you should learn how to shut up.”
He didn’t respond. But I wasn’t done.
Furious, I grabbed a cup of hot coffee on his table and poured it all over his crisp white shirt. He shot up from his seat, the scalding coffee soaking into his shirt.
“WHAT THE—!” he yelled.
Damn, he was angry! While everyone kept staring, I was happy. He’d gotten what he deserved.
“Maybe next time you’ll think twice before you open your mouth,” I said.
With that, we turned on our heels and walked away.
*Two hours later*
“Diana! Come on, let’s go meet the new pilots before we take off,” my colleague said, grabbing me.
As we approached the cockpit, I was so excited! Until the moment I stepped inside.
Dear Lord. My heart nearly stopped. In the pilot`s seat was none other than THIS JERK—the man I’d doused in coffee just hours ago!
“Well, well. This should be interesting,” he said with that stupid grin.
That’s when I realized that I was literally in hell.
Here’s my story
