I’M 75 AND ADOPTED A DOG I FOUND TIED UNDER A BRIDGE IN THE SNOW.

I’M 75 AND ADOPTED A DOG I FOUND TIED UNDER A BRIDGE IN THE SNOW.

I’ll never forget that cold winter morning. I was walking near the river when I saw her—shivering, scared, and tied to a post under the bridge. Snow was falling heavily, and she was barely covered, her little body trembling with cold. Who could do something so cruel?

I untied her and wrapped her in my coat, her eyes filled with fear but also hope. It broke my heart to think she had been abandoned in such a heartless way. How could anyone throw away such love?

I took her home, gave her food, warmth, and a name—Maggie. Despite everything she’s been through, she’s the most loving, gentle soul. At 75, I wasn’t sure if I could take on another dog, but Maggie has brought so much light and joy into my life. She’s my little miracle, and I’ll make sure she never feels cold or alone again.❄️🐶
