The 36-year-old Adele was unable to hold back tears during her final performance at Caesars Palace. She cried on stage, admitting that she had been in tears all day, and shared that her time in Las Vegas marked the end of her current chapter. The singer announced that she doesn’t plan to perform or record new music in the near future. In fact, Adele hinted that she’s unsure if she will return to these pursuits at all.

Adele confessed that she has no idea what she will do next, with no concrete plans in place—except, of course, spending as much time as possible with her son Angelo and her partner Rich Paul. Both were present at Caesars Palace during her last show. Adele addressed them from the stage, embracing them and thanking them for their patience and support. She explained that she had chosen the Las Vegas residency so she could avoid touring and being away from Rich and Angelo for long periods. However, as she wrapped up her two years of intense performances, Adele felt as though, in her own words, her “fuel had run out.” Simply put, she was exhausted.
The singer shared that she plans to “turn the page” and begin a new chapter in her life, aiming to live as a “normal woman.” Adele feels she has neglected both Rich and, especially, Angelo, too much. Her son, who turned 12 this year, had already been through a difficult time when she divorced his father, Simon Konecki, in 2019—whom Angelo had adored. As for Rich, whom she confirmed her engagement to in August, she believes he is her perfect partner, and now she wants to fully embrace family life with him and Angelo.
