The birth of the boy Kevin Robert Clark in 1983 caused quite a buzz in the country. After all, this baby weighed 7.2 kg! He was the nation’s biggest newborn.
Patricia Clark, Kevin’s mother, anticipated that the child would likely be enormous because they had other children who were also large, but she did not anticipate such a shock.
When the youngster was brought home from the hospital, it was discovered that he couldn’t fit in a regular bed and that all of his clothes were too small.
Kevin was taller than 152 cm when he was 12 years old. “Finding appropriate clothing and footwear was the most challenge, especially given my sudden height rise. I required clothes all the time, and it was quite challenging,” he remembers.
